It's a simple equation, and it goes like this:
1 Autumn Leaf + Bright Sun a few hours past zenith = FIRE

VOILA! FIRE!
After playing around with the leaf, it literally began to decay in my hands as it begged me to return it to the earth for a proper decomposition. And so, after discovering why cavemen never needed matches, I gently returned the leaf to its proper place alongside its relatives and returned to the grind.
Farewell, leaf friend.

Amazed.... It really does look like it is on fire! Tis sad that the most beautiful part of its life is in its death. It is like the Christian life...our first death, being crucified with Christ, the most beautiful transformation our souls will ever have. One day, we will go through another transformation, when Jesus grants us resurrection bodies! The light of Christ will literally transform these broken vessels into something so perfect that it must be reserved for heaven! :) Thanks for the light, Mel! :D
